Leadership, mentorship and innovation have been the hallmark of Yousef Ghandour’s distinguished career in physical therapy. He started a new chapter as Co-owner and director at PRN UTC – La Jolla. With over 33 years of professional experience, Yousef is equally passionate about his profession as he is about making a difference in people’s lives.
Following his graduation from CSU, Long Beach, 1985, Yousef pursued advanced training in Orthopedic Manual Therapy and received Masters of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (MOMT) 1991, from the Ola Grimsby Institute in San Diego, CA. Completed additional two years part II residency program under the direct teaching and mentorship of Dr. Ola Grimsby. He became a Fellow in American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (AAOMPT- F011) in 1994.
Yousef Ghandour has been an Ola Grimsby Institute instructor since 1992 which includes short term courses to residency programs. He lectures extensively in Orthopedics Manual Therapy with special interest in spinal care, dynamic soft tissue mobilization, IASTM and sports medicine.
Yousef is faculty member at University of St. Augustine since January 2017 and a voluntary Clinical Instructor in Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. Invited speaker to state and national physical therapy organization.
Yousef is passionate about Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and enjoys sharing his knowledge with his colleagues. He is a member of several physical therapy organizations including the American Physical Therapy Association; The California Physical Therapy Association, the orthopedic section of the APTA; the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists; and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT).
Yousef’s philanthropic work includes volunteering on the board of Physical Therapy for All, www.ptforall.org, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals without health insurance to get the physical rehabilitation they need.

This patent pending device fills the need for a quality, durable and cost-effective product to perform exercises outside the clinic, ultimately contributing to a swift and complete recovery.
