Bio (Highlights): 

Karen Dubrow has owned her practice of orthopedic manual physical therapy since 1990. She has practiced orthopedic physical therapy since 1987. She received her PhD from the Ola Grimsby Institute and was the first to receive the Doctorate of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy from the Ola Grimsby Institute. She is a Certified Golf Fitness Specialist from the GoLo Golf Performance Institute, and is certified in Dry Needling from the American Dry Needling Institute. She graduated with Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Washington University, St. Louis. Karen then began her clinical work at the same time pursuing and achieving a Master of Science Degree from the Graduate School of Texas Woman’s University School of Physical Therapy. She continued with postgraduate work in Manual Therapy, receiving her Equivalency of a Nordic Specialty in Manual Therapy by the Nordic Group of Specialists. She continued her studies with the Ola Grimsby Institute, completing her Part II Manual Therapy Certification, her Master’s of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, the Doctorate of Manual Therapy, and the PhD. Dr. Dubrow has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy since 1998. Karen treats patients full time. She has been a Dissertation Mentor since 2001, Director of Research of the OGI from 2011-2015 and currently is the Research Chair for PhD. Additionally she mentors Fellowship students.

Karen lives with her husband and two rescue dogs in Plano, Texas. She enjoys diving, martial arts, water skiing, cycling, hiking, and essentially any sport she tries. She has served various Boards including the Animal Shelter Advisory Committee of Plano.
