Dr. Frederick Hobusch is a graduate of the University of Utah Division of Physical Therapy. He completed certifications in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Part I (1986) and Part II (1990) from the Nordic Specialty Group for Manual Therapy Board in Norway and earned a certificate in Medical Exercise Therapy. He served for 20 years as an Associate Professor of the University of Utah Division of Physical Therapy, taught at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions and at the University of the Pacific Transitional Doctorate Physical Therapy Program. He is the CFO and serves on the Executive Committee for the Ola Grimsby Institute. He is also a clinical residency instructor for the Ola Grimsby Institute and has taught courses throughout the US, Korea, Philippines, Italy, and Finland. His primary area of teaching is in clinical reasoning. He serves as a clinical mentor for OGI students in Residency, Fellowship, PhD and Home Study Programs. He is the CCI at his out patient orthopaedic clinic for numerous PT and PTA schools. He has been published in physical therapy textbooks and journals and has edited and authored manual therapy course books and curricula. As a member of the APTA he has served in the Utah Chapter as Vice President, on the legislative committee and chaired the manipulation task force. He is a full time clinician and co-owner of Westwood Physical Clinic which he founded in 1979 in Salt Lake City, Utah

In 2015 he was given the Henry O. and Florence Kendall Award for Clinical Practice by the APTA.
