Rett was born and raised in the bountiful Willamette Valley in Oregon. He received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sports Science at Oregon State University. Rett graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Washington in 2006. He knew the power of manual therapy before he graduated and pursued the OGI Manual Therapy curriculums. Since then, he has continuously worked in outpatient orthopaedic physical therapy throughout his career. He currently works with post-professional Residents and Fellowship students in the clinic as well as maintaining a full case of patients. He is the clinic manager at the First Hill clinic for MTI Physical Therapy in Seattle, WA. He works with patients of all orthopedic conditions, but has special interest for cervical, headache, vestibular, desk jockeys, runners and kayakers as well as systemic inflammatory conditions intertwined around nutrition.

In his free time, Rett enjoys running, kayaking, snowshoeing, gardening, traveling to new places, cooking (and eating).
